Participation in a trade fair is expensive and should be well planned. In addition to the right trade fair appearance with a sophisticated presentation concept, the stand personnel plays a key role in the success of the trade fair, as the trade fair personnel are the company's business card. The first step is to select the trade fair staff and then to train them. Many chances are not used optimally, because the fair personnel was wrongly selected and insufficiently trained. Studies and observations have shown that approx. 70 % of all trade fair visitors were not addressed by the stand personnel at all or only inadequately in order to avoid this, the following measures should be taken in the run-up to the trade fair, during the trade fair and in the aftermath of the trade fair:
Daily warm-up before the fair, speech by the stand management and management to prepare the stand personnel for the fair day.
After the trade fair, discussion of the situation and review of the day, if necessary, re-training of the stand personnel where necessary.
